However, for some adolescents who grapple with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, the lack of structure during these months can be daunting. Understanding this challenge, Imagine by Northpoint has crafted the Imagine Summer Program, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering teens to manage life’s challenges while fostering growth and camaraderie.

A Holistic Approach

Tailored for those aged 13 through 17, the Imagine Summer Program takes a holistic approach to mental health treatment by integrating traditional clinical methodologies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with experiential learning activities.  In this way, teens not only develop essential coping skills but also form meaningful connections with their peers.

“Many adolescents who struggle with their mental health tend to regress over the summer, which can make the transition to school in the fall very difficult,” said Dr. Trevor Bixler, Vice President, Clinical Services at Northpoint Recovery and Imagine by Northpoint. “The summer program we’ve constructed is aimed at helping adolescents have a fun and safe summer experience while still keeping up on their skills to manage difficult emotions.”

The Imagine Summer Program is for teens who have been through our program before as well as those who would be coming in as first-time clients. By addressing the unique needs of each participant, our team of professionals ensures every teen receives individualized support throughout their journey.

From hiking in scenic landscapes to engaging in animal-assisted therapy, each experience is carefully curated to promote self-discovery and growth.

Also, the Imagine Summer Program emphasizes the cultivation of social skills and resilience. Through team-building exercises, group discussions, and interactive workshops, teens learn to navigate interpersonal relationships and develop healthy coping mechanisms for whatever life throws at them. PHP Program, 9am–3:30pm Monday through Friday
IOP Program, 3pm–6pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6/3/24 through 8/12/24

Imagine Denver

PHP Program, 9am–3:30pm Monday through Friday
IOP Program, 2pm–5pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6/10/24 through 8/12/24
